When the creator of The Other Spoon was fourteen months old her parents discovered she had a sever allergy to peanuts after eating a peanut butter cookie. Later, this allergy developed to include legumes (beans), and tree nuts. In the time when she was growing up, most people did not understand food allergies. After frustrating attempts to find desserts that were safe to eat, she decided to create an environment that eliminated the top 8 food allergens in the kitchen in order to reduce cross contamination and create a fun environment to enjoy them in.
At The Other Spoon no allergy is too big and we will do all we can to accommodate any allergy. If you can dream it we can try to make it come true.
